Rom Valley Gardens
This low-carbon, £400 million mixed-use scheme will deliver over 950 new homes, NHS healthcare facilities and commercial space alongside public realm. The scheme will champion low-carbon housing, MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) and intergenerational living.
MODERN DAY LIVING
Rom Valley Gardens will provide a new mixed use quarter of over 950+ dwellings, including intergenerational living, NHS diagnostic centre and local retail, near the proposed Crossrail Station. The beautifully landscaped avenue and streets provide for a pleasant walkable neighbourhood with eight to twelve storey development maximising access to daylight, dual aspect homes and efficient servicing. Designed for modular OSM, the development will allow for more eco-friendly construction.
WORKING TOGETHER
A positive collaborative process with Havering Planners and the GLA has enabled us to achieve a successful planning outcome and set a benchmark for this emerging extension to Romford’s urban quarter.
COMMERCIAL SPACES
Alongside the residential development, we have also incorporated commercial spaces across the ground floor of a number of blocks. This includes shops, gyms and NHS facilities.
All under 12 play areas are also located within the site’s hard and soft landscaping.
MASTER PLANNING
With the master planning of this project, it has been important for us to consider incorporating as much green spaces as possible which has been achieved through the use of modern solutions such as underground bin storage.
